FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Florence police have charged a man with biting his girlfriend's 2-year-old son. 22-year-old Clint Matthew Anderson was charged with felony torture or willful abuse of a child.

Police allege the abuse occurred between Sept. 14 and Sept. 16.

Authorities said the boy's grandparents found at least six bite marks and other injuries on his body.

No motive was given.

The same charges were filed against the boy's mother, 21-year-old Ashley Greenhill, also of Florence.

Police said Anderson was already out on bond for unrelated charges. He was being held in the Lauderdale County detention center without bond.
