AL Community College Checkbook going online
Governor Bob Riley will join Chancellor Bradley Byrne of the Alabama Community College System on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 a.m. to demonstrate a new financial transparency effort that puts the system’s checkbook online.

MONTGOMERY – Governor Bob Riley will join Chancellor Bradley Byrne of the Alabama Community College System on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 a.m. to demonstrate a new financial transparency effort that puts the system’s checkbook online.
In February, Governor Riley signed an executive order creating www.open.alabama.gov, a website that puts the state’s checkbook online.
Tuesday’s event will take place in the auditorium on the seventh floor of the Alabama Center for Commerce, 401 Adams Avenue in Montgomery.
