A fiery semi crash near mobile claims two lives.
The accident happened on I-10 near the Loxley exit.
When troopers arrived two tractor-trailers were engulfed in flames.
A preliminary investigation indicates that one of the trucks was heading east on I-10 when it crossed the grass median and collided head-on with the other.
Names of the victims are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
The crash closed both sides of I-10 until the fire was extinguished.
Westbound I-10 remains closed at this time and will remain closed for several hours pending emergency repairs necessitated by the fire.
Emergency crews are still working to clear the scene and ALDOT officials will remain to monitor the repairs.
