October 30, 2009- The City of Enterprise Fire Department will begin their annual fire hydrant flow testing on Monday, November 2.
Testing will start inside the circle and then move outward.
Residents should understand that the city is not wasting water, but that this testing is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of the city fire department, and helps ensure citizens safety in the event of an emergency.
Testing should take 2-3 months.
If residents should notice a discoloration of their water, they should not be alarmed, but should allow a water faucet to run until it clears up.
