If anyone knows Troy coach Larry Blakeney at all, they know he's a typical Southern guy who'll shoot the breeze with anyone at anytime anywhere. I've had many pleasant encounters with him over the past couple years, but the one yesterday was particularly funny...

I was trying to get a couple soundbites from him about the upcoming FAU game, when his phone rings. It was his wife. Obviously the interview was put on hold for a few minutes. When his phone convo with his wife ends, I sarcastically ask him, "You putting out fires, coach?" His response, as only he can do, was an emphatic, humorous, "you have NO idea, brother! You have no idea!"
