Four weeks to go until SEC football media days. While Phil Fulmer being subpoenaed was the highlight last year, this time around there's a bit more juice. Where to begin...

Oh, I don't know--no more Tuberville, replaced by Chizik. Gators coming off another national championship. Tide coming off NCAA sanctions. The SEC landing uber-gazillion dollar TV contracts with CBS and ESPN. Oh, and the new guy who has no friends outside of his own state, Lane Kiffin. The Vols' coach arrives on Friday (24th) along with Les Miles, Gene Chizik, and Steve Spurrier. Let the media love-fest begin. 500 journalists all salivating in anticipation of something, anything from the coaches ranging from the stink-eye to an all-out brawl.

So there's that.

I recently read an article on Alligator hunts. Apparently they're coming to southeast Alabama this year. Late August I believe. I know nothing about this sport, but am extremely intrigued by the possibilities. Do you sit in a canoe and wait for one to appear and blast the heck out of it with a rifle? Do you get a really big net and snare it and club it over the head until it passes out? Or do you wear an alligator suit and trick it into coming onto land with you? Seriously, I wanna know!
