I'm not sure exactly, but if I had to estimate...it's been at least  four years since I have had the chance to go home in the Fall. Home for me is New England, and there is no better place to be in mid-October. The last time I went home, I don't remember the leaves having reached their peak colors yet..

If you've never been somewhere that has a fall foliage I reccomend you make the trip. From Virginia to Maine, to Tennessee you can find it, but depending on the weather, especially the ammount and timing of rain, the leaves peak at different times. Anyway, I am headed home for a quick weekend next week, mainly for one of my oldest friend's weddings. I hope I get a chance to pick some apples, and see some leaves while I'm home..
