Jackson County Drug Task Force makes and arrest
A woman is arrested after investigators with the Jackson County Drug Task Force, conducted a traffic stop on I-10 near the 146 Mile Marker for a vehicle equipment violation.

On Wednesday, investigators with the Jackson County Drug Task Force, conducted a traffic stop on I-10 near the 146 Mile Marker for a vehicle equipment violation.
It was also known prior to the traffic stop that the driver of the vehicle, Janice Gail Outlaw did have a suspended and expired driver's license.
A narcotics detection K-9 was deployed for an open-air sniff of the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics being emitted from the driver's side door of the stopped vehicle and the vehicle was searched.
During the coarse of the search, five boxes of pseudophedrine sinus medication were located.
During the coarse of the investigation it was determined that the sinus medication was purchased for the sole purpose for the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Also located inside the vehicle was a large package of coffee filters, Coleman camp fuel, and lithium batteries, all of which were also purchased on July 1, 2009 in Marianna, Florida and all are consistent in the manufacture of Methamphetamine.
Janice Gail Outlaw, who is currently residing in Colquitt, Georgia, was placed under arrest for trafficking in pseudophedrine due to the amount of the medication that she was in possession of.
Janice Gail Outlaw was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await First Appearance on her charge.
