LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - A group of new Americans are celebrating their citizenship at Walt Disney World.
More than 1,000 immigrants gathered to take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States at a citizenship ceremony at Walt Disney World on Friday morning. The group then attended a premiere of Disney's revamped Hall of Presidents attraction, which has undergone renovations and is scheduled to officially reopen Saturday.
Actor Andy Garcia, a naturalized citizen who is originally from Cuba, delivered the keynote address at the ceremony, which was jointly hosted by Disney Parks and Resorts and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
