Middleburg man drowns when canoe overturns
Authorities say a man who fishing with his 18-year-old son in the Ocala National Forest drowned when their canoe overturned in Lake Katherine.

OCALA, Fla. (AP) - The son, whose name wasn't released, told deputies that the canoe overturned in a lily pad Saturday night, sending 44-year-old man overboard.
Deputies didn't release the Middleburg man's name.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will
investigate the drowning.
