MIAMI (AP) - The woman was attacked Saturday afternoon, while she was celebrating the Fourth of July holiday with friends. Officials say
her injuries weren't life threatening.

Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Arnold Piedrahita says the shark took
a "big chunk out of her leg," but missed an artery.

The woman's name wasn't released. She was taken to a South
Florida hospital for treatment after the attack.
