WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A plane from Atlanta landed safely in West Palm Beach after signaling a problem before landing that prompted fire-rescue vehicles to respond to the tarmac.
Palm Beach International Airport spokeswoman Cassandra Davis said Delta Flight 2030 had 144 people on board when it landed safely Sunday night. She said the flight sent out an Alert Two to authorities because an unsafe gear indicator light came on.
The alert triggered a fire-rescue response. No passengers reported any injuries and it was unclear why the light turned on.
