I picked Robert up a 7am as that was when he found the road and stopped a trucker to make the call to come pick him up. We called the police on the way back to our house. He was in the woods all night long and if he had been injured probably wouldn't have made it. It took 2 hours for the boat to get there. Then they had to duct tape the boat for another hour! It took the helicopter over 6 hours to get there and it missed him waving a piece of his float 2 times!!!! He was lost in the woods all night long. There was no gap in calling off the search! We (the family) were up all night thinking the worst as he has some disabilities including being 50% blind. This is not being reported the way it really happened. No charges pending!!! Outrageous!!!!
