MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - Officials in Marietta say a freight train struck and killed a man who was walking along railroad tracks.

Police say the 60-car CSX train's conductor honked his horn, but the man failed to step off the tracks and was struck Monday afternoon.

A witness told police she saw the man walking back and forth on
the tracks before he was hit.

The unidentified man was said to be in his mid 30s to early 40s.
