A Headland man is in trouble and another person might be arrested for allegedly abusing two children.
Headland Police arrested the mother's boyfriend 31-year-old Robert Lee Gibson for two counts of felony aggravated child abuse.
It happened when the seven and 11-year-old showed up to school Friday morning with marks reportedly sustained Thursday evening.
Headland primary school officials called the police who took the children to the emergency room and began investigations.
After interviewing neighbors and teachers at school, officials arrested Gibson at his Headland home.
The investigation is continuing and police hope to make another arrest soon.
Gibson has been released from the Henry County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
