A landscaper digging holes to plant trees yesterday hit a two-inch gas main used by 120-homes in the Grove Park subdivision.

Dothan Fire and Police Department as well as multiple gas trucks responded to the scene.

Reportedly the gas leak has been contained.

Fire officials say citizens in the area are not in danger.

No homes were evacuated.

Officials are waiting for the water authority to identify water lines and cables ...in order to continue their repairs.
