The property is located roughly off of Smithville Road going down Highway 231 South, near Highway 109.

You can see the land from both sides of Smithville Road, it also touches Highway 231.

The exact size of the land is 776 acres and the amount of money paid for the land has not been disclosed.

News 4 caught up with Ronnie Gilley and will have more on the location tonight on News 4 at 5 and 6.

This is great for the men and women who dedicate so much of their time to Rehobeth Volunteer Fire and Rescue, maybe now they can get funding for their services. This has been their primary coverage area for years. These people are dedicated to serving others, they have the best equipment and patient care of anyone I have seen. I commend the commission for keeping their blinders off and see the need to increase funding for volunteers
