A Houston County teenager has been charged as an adult with a sex crime involving an underage girl.

16-year-old David Lee Flowers is accused in the rape of a girl under the age of 12.

The incident happened Tuesday night in Cowarts.

Houston County Sheriff’s department investigators say Flowers fled the scene but was picked up later by deputies.

Flowers is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail.

i feel that it was so wrong for him to commit a crime as nasty. he must have been desperate and sick in the head to do something so disgusting. i feel so sorry for this little girl and her family. he deserves to go to jail for this sickening crime. i am real disgusted i have noithing futher to say.

THIS GUY IS SO SICK FOR DOING THAT WITH A YOUNG GIRL. I MEAN THIS MAY SOUND BAD BUT THERE ARE PLENTY OF TEENAGE GIRLS OUT THERE THAT ARE WILLING. AND I CANNOT NOT STAND GUYS LIKE HIM. HE NEEDS TO ROT IN JAIL. HE DESERVES NO BOND!!!!!!

He needs to continue to be held . He does'nt deserve to be free. He took the freedom and future of a young child.
