Panama City Robbery Suspect Caught in Mississippi

A Florida man has been arrested in Mississippi for robbing a Panama City gas station.

Police say 38-year-old Michael Scherba of Seabring has also been linked to bank robberies in Pensacola.

Washington County sheriff's investigators traced a car allegedly stolen by Scherba to Gulfport, Mississippi where he was arrested.

Investigators say he has confessed to robbing a Panama City gas station on April 20th and to robbery, burglary and car theft charges in Washington County.
