A Dale County man on trial for murder pled guilty to a lesser charge Tuesday in Ozark.

56-year-old Johnny Draugh is accused in the stabbing death of Ronnie Miller in Daleville.

The two men were arguing over the title to a vehicle in February of last year when the disagreement turned deadly.

District Attorney Kirk Adams says the two men had been drinking heavily prior to the altercation.

Draugh pled guilty to manslaughter and is free on bond. He will be sentenced at a later date.

As a friend of Ronnie Miller and his family, I think that Draugh got off to easy for mudering him. I grew up with the Millers and I know that Ronnie wasn't perfect, but he didn't deserve to die like that. Not only has his family lost a loved one, but we the community that knew him has lost a dear friend as well. I can only hope that the Judge in this case will see to it that Justice is served and sentence Draugh to the maximim and he serves everyday of it, as he has sentenced we the friends and his family to a life time of grief. His thoughless actions has done more damage then anyone could ever know and he deserves to rot in that prison he's going to.

I can only hope that Draugh find justice for his actions inside prison. He did intend to take Ronnie's life, and did so without any remorse. I did not know Ronnie but I think we can all measure just how special he was in meeting and knowing the loved ones that showed up for court. Their lives will never be the same at the loss of their son, father, and husband. I watched as Draugh stood before the judge and stated that he took the life of Ronnie and not one time did he offer any remorse or apology to the family. I truly hope we as a community can keep this monster in jail for every day of his sentence. And I hope every day he spends in jail is a day of living hell. Why not, he deserves it!

well it sure would have been nice to see draugh get more then manslaughter for taking Ronnie Miller's life but if the judge has a heart and seen what this family has been through and what they yet have to go through he would throw the book at him and give him the full 20 year's without parole he has destroyed this family so why should'nt his family be destroyed i believe in an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth we will be down there for the sentencing phase and i hope the judge gives him what he deserves which is 20 year's it's time to make an example out of these people and let them know they can't keep going out here and killing people and think it's ok because the less time you give draugh all your doing is telling people go ahead kill someone and you'll get off cheap well let's hope not in this case because my best friend has been through heck with this case and i hope the judge really stick's it to him good he deserves everything he get's and alot more believe me R.I.P RONNIE.
