A bond hearing was held Wednesday for David Waller. He was arrested two-days after the murder of an elderly Houston County man last month but not for the murder.

Waller, 32, is charged with receiving two guns belonging to the murder victim, 69-year-old Joe Tex Johnson.

In his testimony, Houston County Sheriff's office investigator Bill Rafferty said there was probable cause to charge Waller with capital murder.

Rafferty called Waller a potential flight risk due to family ties around Georgia and Alabama as well as past of using false information.

A bond in this case will be announced Thursday.

Investigators are still looking for information regarding the murder.
