Three-weeks ago Dothan Mayor Pat Thomas announced a list of capital improvement projects for the city. Since then city leaders have solicited input from residents.
Monday night, residents had their last chance to speak about any of the ten proposed capital improvement projects.
Six of the proposals have to do with recreation or parks and all those that spoke addressed those concerns.
Dothan Leisure Services director, Ann Rumble, says that citizens wanting more oppurtunities for recreation not a bad thing.
“It's a great feeling to know there are so many people enjoying recreation on a daily basis that there's so many that want more and more and more," said Rumble
Each of the ten items will be voted on individually at the Dothan city commission meeting on May 20th.
