A head-on collision between a motorcycle and an SUV killed both drivers Tuesday night in Washington County.

32-year-old Carlton Jacobs from Panama City was traveling northbound on County Road 279 on his motorcycle.

Jacobs veered into the southbound lane and hit 26-year-old Richard Eades from DeFuniak Springs.

The Florida Highway Patrol say Jacobs's motorcycle struck the SUV so hard he was ejected and crashed through the windshield.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
