The animal ordinance committee presented its revised document to the commission.

The revised ordinance has come under fire at public meetings in the past month.

Some pet-owners have voiced opposition to mandatory licensing for pets and mandatory spay and neutering.

Residents spoke in favor and against parts of the animal ordinance at Tuesday night's city commission meeting.

Commissioners will vote on the ordinance at their next meeting on June 3rd.

I have seen the good and bads about animal control.I beleve in the mandentory spay and neuter, but I believe it needs to be also put on these breeders. I think if you start taxing every animal, alot will end up being euthanised, because noone wants to pay that price
