It was a scene similar to the television game show Supermarket Sweep when one Wiregrass resident ran through the Enterprise Wal-Mart Monday morning.
Leetha Peets raced down the aisles of Wal-Mart after winning a three-and-a-half minute shopping spree from a raffle put on by the Bellwood Star Masonic Lodge.
She was a lucky winner after her and her husband only purchased one $1 ticket.
The total damage of the spree came to $268.14 and the competitor says it all happened so fast.
"I kind of forgot where things were in the store, so I had to remember where they were,” Peets said. “But it was fun to just grab things and not worry about a shopping list."
Bellwood Star Lodge #269 is located in Geneva County, and proceeds from their fundraiser will go toward making Thanksgiving Day baskets.
