4th of July Celebrations

If you want to play it safe this 4th of July, there are several professional fireworks shows planned. This year's "Freedom Fest" will include the usual festivities and concert and ends with the fireworks display at 9 PM on Fort Rucker. There is more information about the MWR's freedom fest on their website.

Also, the Kiwanis club of Dothan will present this year's "Family 4th Celebration." Fireworks at the peanut festival fairgrounds are set for 8:30 PM. Advance tickets are $5 a person and $8 at the gate. Children 12 and under get in free. There is more information on family 4th including a schedule of events on their website.
