ENTERPRISE MAYOR KENNETH BOSWELL SAYS A CITY FUNDED STUDY INDICATES THAT A TRAFFIC SIGNAL IS REQUIRED AT A DANGEROUS INTERSECTION.
IN THE LAST SIX-MONTHS, THERE'S BEEN SEVERAL SERIOUS ACCIDENTS AT FREEDOM DRIVE AND RUCKER BOULEVARD... CURRENTLY, THERE'S ONLY A STOP SIGN ON FREEDOM DRIVE WARNING DRIVERS OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
MAYOR BOSWELL SAYS THE STATE INITIALLY TOLD THE CITY A SIGNAL WASN'T REQUIRED.
BUT, THE MAYOR SAYS THE INDEPENDANT STUDY INDICATES OTHERWISE.
MAYOR BOSWELL ADDS THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY WILL BE SENT TO THE D.O.T. OFFICE IN TROY.
IT'S HOPED THE STATE WILL DECIDE TO PLACE A TRAFFIC LIGHT AT THE INTERSECTION.
