The saga over controversial campaign ads continues in the race for the 2nd Congressional District.

This time it includes country crossing developer Ronnie Gilley. He met with media this morning to discuss his involvement or his lack of involvement with the latest controversial ad.

Today Gilley announced his support for Senator Harri Anne Smith. He says Love asked for his backing before the campaign, but Gilley declined. Now, Love's television ads say Smith supports gambling. Gilley made it clear that Smith never asked for his endorsement or campaign funds.

News 4 will have reaction from Smith and Love tonight on News 4.
