Dothan fire officials say a fire that burned a rehabilitation building on Saint Andrews Street Tuesday morning, was set intentionally.

The Alano Club building is used as a meeting hall for different drug and alcohol addiction programs.

When firefighters arrived to the scene of the fire, they found the building unlocked with possible signs of theft.

There is currently one suspect in questioning.

Asst. Fire Marshal of the Dothan Fire Dept., Danny Appling says, "Many times a fire of this nature is made by a person connected to the building in some way. The suspect may be involved with drugs and may have been in it before."

The Dothan Police Department is also investigating the crime.

They will question and charge those believed to be responsible.
