The Level Plains Volunteer Fire Department just received a $71,000 grant from FEMA to purchase a new fire-truck.
The current truck is a 1973 model that has been loaned to them by the state.
Officials say the new truck is going to be beneficial for both the department and the town.
Officials hope to have the truck within the next 90 days.
