ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Sheriff's authorities in Orange County, Florida, have been digging through a woman's backyard in an attempt to find clues into the disappearance of her 2-year-old granddaughter.
Caylee Marie Anthony has been missing for more than a month.
Her mother told investigators that she dropped the girl off with a friend on June 9th. But authorities have been unable to locate that woman, or verify just about anything else that Casey Marie Anthony has told them.
The mother reported the girl missing two days ago. Anthony has been arrested for child neglect and providing false information to law enforcement.
Yesterday, a neighbor told authorities that the woman had borrowed a shovel a month ago.
