Law enforcement officials gathered Friday to improve their skills on investigating child abuse.
The program is sponsored by the Child Advocacy Center in Dothan.
Officials learned how to better interview children to get a more accurate description of real-life events.
The training helps ensure officials are prepared to handle child abuse situations.
Program Director Liz Martin says, “We've had an increase in child abuse cases and we try to bring speakers to help investigators improve their skills.”
