DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Five males were taken into custody by Dothan Police for alleged sex crimes following their arrests at a city park.

Police said the arrests occurred Tuesday through Friday and were part of a weeklong undercover sex sting at Westgate Park.

The five men are from the Wiregrass region, Florida and Georgia. All were charged with either gender harassment or disorderly conduct and were released on $300.00 bond each.

Police said the offenses are misdemeanors.

Authorities said the sting was carried out they received complaints that the men were engaged in illicit activities.
