DOTHAN, Ala. - Bob Theune was recently appointed to a six-year term on the Houston County Health Care Authority.

He graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and earned his Master of Business Administration from Troy University in Dothan in 1993. He has also attended numerous management development courses with AMA and Harvard University.

Theune came to Dothan in 1989 as the director of marketing for Dunbarton Corporation. While at Dunbarton, he was vice president of sales before serving as company president.

Theune has served as past-chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Dothan by Design and the Economic Development Task Force for the Envision initiative.

He currently serves on the Alabama Technology Network board in Eufaula and the Wiregrass Museum of Art Board of Trustees.
