A two-car collision in downtown Dothan brings traffic to a near hault this afternoon.

Sergeant Tim Ward with the Dothan Police Department says a black car heading north on Oates Street attempted a left turn on Adams Street and collided with a silver car heading south on Oates Street.

There was traffic in the inside lane blocking view of the driver in the black car.

At this time there are only minor injuries reported and nobody has been transported to a hospital.

Police say you should not attempt a turn unless you can see both lanes of traffic.
