Funeral arrangements have been finalized for an Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy killed in the line of duty.

Deputy Tony Forgione was shot to death while attempting to arrest a suspect who had escaped from a hospital during a mental evaluation.

Forty-seven-year-old Mark Rohlman barricaded himself inside his home.

Forgione was killed when SWAT team members entered the home. Rohlman was shot and killed by other officers.

Deputy Forgione’s funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Niceville Assembly of God Church.

The family will receive visitors at the church from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

A trust fund has been set up for Forgione's widow and two children at Beach Community Bank.

Deputy Forgione will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to the family. He was a wonderful man, let alone a great Deputy.

Did the suspect shoot the officer? What a coward he is easy way out of all his problems. I don't understand why he was let out of the hospital in the first place. This is terrible these children don't have their father here on earth with them anymore. This guy should of never been let out. A good person and outstanding father gave his life for someone who shouldn't of been allowed to be free.
