A man who once appeared prominently on the Geneva County Sheriff's Department Operation Who's Next drug list received a stiff sentence.

Earlier this summer, Sylvester Sikes Jr. was convicted by a Geneva County Jury on a narcotic distribution charge.

Sikes known on the streets by the nickname "Silk" was considered one of the largest crack cocaine dealers in the Wiregrass.

Following a several month undercover operation last November, sheriff's drug investigators arrested Sikes inside his Geneva mobile home

The suspect had also been running a restaurant and auto tinting business.

District judge Charles Fleming sentenced Sikes to 25-years in prison.

He could have received a maximum sentence of life.

The Law inforcement officers, which ever they are will not be charged!!!! They may say they are "looking into it" but they could care less. I have been working around law inforcement many years and it is always the same "protect our own" In Louisiana (2) two years ago Police officer driving drunk Kills a man in a wreck 6mos. probation. that is not right. People will one day stand up and put a stop to this! yes one day it will happen and our Goverment will wonder why..
