Houston County Sheriff's Department investigators are still searching for clues in the case of a loaded gun found in their jail.
Last week, a .9mm handgun was found inside a mattress at the Houston County Jail.
However, only employees have full access to the room where inmate mattresses are.
After tracing the gun's original owner back to Kentucky, they went to question the woman over the weekend.
Investigators say she claims her ex-husband sold it. However the ex-husband say's she's lying.
The investigation is continuing.
