An alleged dispute over a car resulted in an afternoon shooting in the Town of Gordon on Tuesday.
The alleged shooter, 28-year-old Clennon Melton, was holed up inside 75 Tifton Road for more than an hour before surrendering to Houston County Sheriff's deputies.
The victim managed to get to a gas station at Highway 84 and Highway 95 to call for help.
31-year-old Frederick Wesley received superficial wounds to the shoulder from two pellets of a shot gun blast.
Authorities say all this went down over a property dispute.
Melton is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and assault second degree.
He is being held at the Houston County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
