New Brockton mayoral candidate Lenwood Herron has filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding the initial August municipal election.

Herron alleges a voter attempted to vote two ballots at the same time.

Monday night, he asked the city council to expand the number of poll workers and to stop poll workers using cell phones while they were working at the voting house.

Herron says he is awaiting word from the Justice Department's Civil Rights division in regard to his complaint over the August election in New Brockton.

This type of Voter activity is nation wide,,ACORN has a notorious record of voter violations and voter fraud,,But they still receive Our Tax Dollars for their support,,Kinda like shooting your self in the foot.

Today when I was attempting to vote in New Brockton, I noted signs posted stating that one must show an ID before being allowed to vote. Yet, a person tried to vote without an ID. Those working there wanted to know if anyone in the old council chamber knew the woman and could/would vouch for her. No sign stated that an ID "or someone to vouch for you" was required, only that an ID was required. No wonder vote counts are questionable!!
