Three Tornadoes Cause Damage in Ala. Wiregrass
Storm survey teams from the National Weather Service confirmed storm damages in Coffee, Dale, Henry and Houston counties were caused by three small tornadoes.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Storm survey teams from the National Weather Service confirmed storm damages in Coffee, Dale, Henry and
Houston counties were caused by three small tornadoes.

The tornadoes Wednesday, packing 100 mph-plus winds, caused no injuries or deaths.

In Coffee County, an EF-1 tornado damaged the Enterprise Civic Center. The same twister touched down near the Fort Rucker military base causing sporadic damage.

A second twister, rated EF0, moved into Henry and Dale counties. A house north of state route 27 was damaged.

A third tornado, also an EF0, was spotted near Wicksburg in Houston County. It caused minor damage to several cars at an auto dealership.
