One area man wants to bring Motown to Dothan.
Henry S. Twiggs may seem like an every day man.
He is a truck driver... A father and husband...
But what's special about Twiggs is he was raised poor on the streets of New York, became a successful banker in Detroit, ended up moving to New Orleans, raised a family and had all his possessions taken during Hurricane Katrina.
"When Katrina came, it took everything we had. My wife, my two children and I came here," says Twiggs.
Twiggs also sells truck safety signs to make a little extra.
But that little extra isn't for anything you see in his home.
Twiggs uses the money for his new business five s. Creations.
He says through his company... He wants to teach Wiregrass youth ways to succeed.
His goal is to have a place for anyone to record music and learn theatre, like those he remembers during the Motown Era in Detroit.
"I believe if you can give these kids a vision and if you can show these kids that through what they do their life could be different," says Twiggs.
Different and successful.
