Effects of the terrorist plot are being felt in the Wiregrass.
Jerry Wise uses a propeller lock-chain to secure his crop-dusting planes when they're not being used.
That's one of several precautions being urged by the National Agricultural Aviation Association.
Many operators have also installed hidden security switches to prevent unauthorized use.
A crop-duster in the wrong hands could result in deadly chemicals being spread over a community.
"We don't want the possibility of someone using a plane, especially a crop duster as a weapon. We will continue to monitor our security and keep it pretty tight," said Wise.
If you see anything suspicious near or around an airport, you're asked to call police.
