The Houston County Commission will vote Monday to approve a “Class C” bingo permit for the Country Crossing project.
Commission Chairman Mark Culver says there are still several preconditions that must be met before any bingo operation can begin.
The commission agreed to provide the bingo permit prior to construction so that investors and developers would have assurance that the project was in fact going to happen.
The bingo permit can either be issued by the commission or Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes.
The commission will vote on the permit during Monday’s meeting.
