Authorities are trying to determine if the weekend death of a Wiregrass man is the result of natural causes.

At around 4 a.m. Saturday morning, emergency crews responded to a residence on Springdale Road in Hartford.

The homeowner, Tim Fowler, was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Hartford police say the 52-year-old had a blood alcohol limit of more than three-times the legal limit. During a party at the home, Fowler reportedly got into a fight with a 21-year-old man.

Authorities hope an autopsy being performed at the state department of forensics in Montgomery will determine the exact cause of death.
