Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward says the arrest of a Fadette man has solved several Christmas season burglaries.

Hovie Sawyers faces two-counts of recovery of stolen property and one-count of theft of property.

Sawyers allegedly stole construction equipment and all-terrain vehicles in Houston, Dale, and Geneva counties.

Sheriff Ward says the stolen items have been recovered and are in the process of being returned to the owners.

Sawyers has been released from the Geneva County Jail under a $4,000 bond.
