A fire destroyed a Malvern home on Main Street round 7:30 a.m. this morning.
A neighbor and passer-by reported the fire to authorities.
It took firefighters from Malvern Fire Department as well as Faydette and Rehobeth about 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.
Firefighters say one man lived in the home but he was not there at the time of the fire.
At this time, it is believed a candle left burning is the cause of the blaze.
Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
