A new industry is coming to the city of Opp. Officials plan to make a formal announcement Friday.
Bio-fuel manufacturing plants have been built in the Midwest. Now one is planned for the Wiregrass area.
Perihelion Global Company plans to build a bio-fuel refinery in Opp.
Company officials will join Opp and Covington County officials for a news conference Friday morning.
Details of the agreement will be disclosed at that time.
There's been no official word yet on how many jobs the new facility will create or when the plant will go on line.
