Alabama state troopers are assisting in the investigation of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a Lewisville police officer.
The incident happened on Highway 51 in Clio about 10 p.m. Saturday night.
Twenty-nice-year-old Feliciano Lopez Castillo was pronounced dead at Dale Medical Center.
Lewisville police officer Lonnie Adams was driving the patrol car.
Troopers say Adams was on his way to work when the incident happened.
