Tax season is just around the corner, and one Wiregrass organization wants to help you prepare your income tax returns.

The Alabama Association of Accountants Wiregrass chapter will sponsor a 1040 income tax workshop in Troy Thursday.

Sponsors say they event will deal with new changes in tax laws and speakers will be available to answer questions.

The workshop will run from 8AM until 1PM at Troy’s Holiday Inn on Highway 231.

It's open to the public and costs $5 dollars for chapter members and $15 for non-members.

You don't have to make a reservation to attend.
